Welcome to our Training Section

Located in the heart of Epping Forest, in extensive luxury facilities located in 2.75 acres of land, we pride ourselves on the high quality of our training which is carried out by highly qualified professional British and European trainers.

Before you dog arrives at K9-Unit, we require that you complete a behaviour assessment form, from which our specialist team will help you identify the most effective course of obedience and behaviour management training that will benefit your dog.

On arrival, you and your dog will meet your allocated trainer, who will quickly establish a handler/dog relationship with your dog and undertake basic assessment testing.

 
Our obedience and behaviour management training is enforced through a positive and negative system, your dog will be praised and rewarded for good behaviour using the following commands

At the end of the training course, our specialist handlers will demonstrate your dogs new skills to you, and show you how to handle and maintain the dog to ensure that the dog remains happy and well trained.  For our residential courses, we offer a complimentary one hour follow up session two weeks after your course has ended.  This allows us to assess your dog and rectify any handler errors and allow you to ask us any questions you may have.

Our training package costs are inclusive of board and food for you dog, however any veterinary costs incurred whilst undertaking their obedience and behaviour management training are to be settled.  On the rare occasion that a dog has not trained to its full potential within its allocated course time, then do not worry, our specialist handlers will extend the training period at no extra cost.
